From Stuck to Soft: A Nervous System Reset for the Perfectionist’s Body
This workshop series explores how perfectionism and chronic stress show up in the body as tension, bracing, and nervous system overload. Through education, gentle movement, breathwork, guided self-reflection, journaling prompts, and group discussion, participants learn to release stored tension, regulate the nervous system, and soften rigid patterns of self-pressure. Rather than fixing or forcing change, the work focuses on building awareness, safety, and resilience — supporting a more compassionate and sustainable relationship with the body and daily life.

- Gentle guided movement to release stored tension

Breaking Free from Bracing
This workshop is designed to unwind physical and emotional bracing patterns that interfere with comfort, breath, and embodied presence. We’ll explore how stress shows up in the body — especially in the neck/shoulders, core/spine, and hips — and practice somatic tools that help you build a more connected relationship with your body while reducing aches, pain, and chronic tension.
What You’ll Experience:
- Education on bracing and protective reflexes — learn why tension patterns form and how to unwind them without forcing or “pushing through”
- Guided somatic movement to build body awareness and restore a felt sense of support and ease
- Gentle stretch therapy and corrective exercise to reduce tension in the shoulders, spine, and hips and improve mobility
- Breath-awareness practices to help the body soften, settle, and move with less effort
- Practical take-home tools you can use in daily life to relieve tension, support posture, and feel more embodied
